Texans went to the polls in astonishing numbers for a Saturday election over constitutional amendments and, by a squeaker of a vote, passed Proposition 12! This is good news for Texas docs, nurses, hospitals, nursing homes, and I truly believe ultimately for all Texans (except those who made livings on Lottery jury awards).
Wow, was that close. Early voting was pushed very hard by the Texas Medical Association, and that seems to really have secured the victory.
