Officials: Fair not affected by Disneyland accident
Attendance at the Permian Basin Fair and Exposition has not been affected by an accident Friday on Disneyland’s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad coaster that killed one and injured 10 others, according to fair officials.
I grew up in West Texas, and I can report conclusively that not even the dullest among us believed that the Fair and Disneyland were in any way related.
I hope the excruciating embarrasment of being humiliated in my blog keeps them from doing this for at least another week.
I laughed out loud. We had planned a trip to Disneyland in January but after the accident had planned to cancel and attend the Midland fair instead. Thanks for straightening us out.
