One problem is that the average consumer often mistakes “safe,” with “harmless.” That just because a drug may be relatively benign and considered safe, they assume that means completely harmless and without adverse events. One example is Tylenol, which some people eat like candy, never thinking that this “safe” drug can induce any harm.
