Rearranging the Deck Chairs

As those of you who actually see this blog know, it’s been undergoing a renovation, moving everything over to Word Press from Movable Type. We’re almost done with it, but I’ll (just this once) ask for opinions on the look and feel of the blog (and if you find things that don’t work, please tell me!).
So, what would you change? (“The editor”, you say. Har har).

Thanks. There are those here who think it’s “too sterile”, but I don’t really know a) if that’s bad, and b) how to fix it.

You’re not a “ruffles and flourishes” guy, after all. This blog reflects you — to the point, humorous when appropriate. Keep up the good work!

I think it could use some flair, perhaps. Maybe clean out the closets. How long do you plan on showing that Best Medical Blog award? Reminds me of these people in our local paper obits whose picture is from somewhere around WWII.
Maybe retire it to your “About” section.
