I figured I about broke even on the HPSP thing compared to non-military.  I did have much less financial worries though medical school and residency than most of my non-HPSP colleagues.  Overall I don&#039;t know that I would make the same choice again, though.

On the physical fitness standards, I was in the best shape of my life when I was in the military mainly from trying to meet the standards, so can&#039;t complain much about that.</description>
