Recently SSG Matthew Kinney was named Flight Medic of the Year at the DUSTOFF Association and AMEC Conference for his actions on Oct. 16, 2008, and for which he was also awarded the Silver Star.

I am always impressed with the quality of info you convey on your blog. I am truly impressed with SSG Kinney’s grace and courage under fire. It is a shame that more citizens are not exposed to these stories in mainstream media. Thanks GD for doing your part to keep us informed.
