Now, one of those senseless apologies.
I’m in the midst of a long, long string of shifts, the AC project isn’t finished, so there’s a great hole in the wall (still), and I am noodling with Linux distros. I need to ‘geek up’ a bit.
So, nothing really jumps out at me to blather on about. Inspiration will come soon.
One of my personal aphorisms in medicine and perhaps in life, is that, “Sometimes the hardest thing to do is nothing.” (I think I invented this, but it’s hard to be sure)
In an absolute, energy expenditure way it seems simple, but the urge to do something, anything can be strong.
One of the side effects of doing nothing is that it forces you to contemplate what you might do, what the outcomes might be, and whether those outcomes are useful or desirable or perhaps dangerous.
Real geeks use bsd ;)
