Every time I think my country is screwed up, I read this sort of thing, and feel better about it. And kudos to the hospital that just said no (apparently).

It’s really sad that people still think like that (especially people that have any significance for a country’s legal system). An eye for an eye…is that really necessary? There has to be other alternatives for these kind of people, but I guess just throwing them in jail and feeding them 3 square meals a day (like the US) can get expensive..
